Karen comes to IIG after spending ten years as a secondary social studies teacher in the Baltimore City and Howard County School Systems. She holds an Advanced Professional Certificate in Social Studies (7-12) with endorsements in Reading and Special Education. Ms. Daley has served as a content team leader and as a professional development model teacher for National Geographic Education. Having seen firsthand the critical importance of developing financial literacy in her students throughout the years, she is excited to help young women in IIG schools develop a broad worldview and the practical skills necessary to succeed beyond the classroom. Karen lives with her husband and two children in Baltimore City. She holds a BA in History from Loyola University Maryland and an MA in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University.
