Our core model delivers a blended approach to personal finance and careers in finance. Many of our girls chose to pursue internships over their summer break in financial services as a result of participating in our program.

The IIG Model is an innovative approach.

Our three pronged approach gives girls a holistic view on personal finance and the industry itself.

•    Our blended learning style gives girls access to real time news and information that directly relates to the topics we cover.

Our workshops can be modified to accommodate any class size, duration and content.  We are constantly evaluating what works in the classroom.

IIG works with 10th, 11th and 12th grade girls and teaches three concepts over the course of three years:

• Sophomores – Budgeting/Personal finance

• Juniors – Investing your money

• Seniors – College debt, taxes, insurance, interviewing and philanthropic giving.

Through our learning management system, designed to interact within the IIG classroom, girls watch video interviews of women in the industry whose profession is tied to the concepts covered during our workshops throughout the academic year.

Role Models also teach the IIG curriculum in the classroom, guest blog and mentor on IIG Industry Trips.

Please attached a short bio with your video. This exercise shouldn't take more than 10 minutes of your time and will be extraordinarily helpful in exposing the girls to a variety of women, career paths and roles within finance.

We thank you for your time and look forward to seeing your videos! The girls will be thrilled to meet you in the virtual world!

Our industry exposure trips are an experiential learning opportunity for our girls to meet professionals working in finance and financial services. It allows our girls to experience a physical office space, and allows them to leave with new knowledge, connections and career path opportunities. Our host companies are forward thinking and innovative with an interest in exposing high school girls to new career paths in financial services.
