Bring Invest in Girls to your school

When it comes to money matters, most girls lack knowledge and confidence. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Partnering with Invest in Girls is easy.

Invest in Girls has developed teen-friendly coursework that teach the basics of personal finance. IIG instructors will come to your school or we can share our curriculum and support your teachers in their work. You can bring IIG in for as few as 6 sessions or as long as a full academic year.

Together, we have the power to transform lives and create more equitable outcomes for girls by instilling the basics of personal finance and introducing them to careers in financial services.

The students love the Invest in Girls program. The young ladies rave about the program. They were on time. They did not leave on time. I can tell it’s making an impact, that it’s something they are interested in, and that they are actually learning.

Invest in Girls gives our students the chance to empower themselves with knowledge and experiences that have a positive impact on their future. This is exactly the kind of program that I hope my own daughter can be a part of one day.

Student Competitions

IIG is a program of the Council for Economic Education, who each year hosts national events for teams of high school students who show what they know and compete against their peers across the country in a super fun way!

National Personal Finance Challenge

Your students can build and demonstrate their knowledge of money management through the National Personal Finance Challenge (NPFC). Enter a team and prepare for your state’s competition. Not only is participating in the NPFC gratifying, it’s a great way for students to show what they know, have a chance to compete in the national finals, and win cash prizes.

National Economics Challenge

Build and test your students’ knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the international economy in the National Economics Challenge (NEC). Enter a team and prepare for your state’s competition. This team learning activity is like an Olympics for economics with a chance to compete in the national finals and win cash prizes.
